Many French actors and actresses did a better job in performing in a movie whose the language was English... Plus, I'm still disappointed on Ulliel's performance in "Hannibal rising" because he tried to imitate Hopkins but his role is most a parody than a real good implication... Like his accent when he speaks in this interview, he plays an accent... I watched several French movies where he appeared like "A very long engagement"... "Hannibal" didn't deserve him.

He has such a sexy mouth, but it's much more animated and sensuous when he speaks in French, than it is when he speaks in English. I think, because English is not his first language and he has to concentrate on the words, more than his expression. I want those lips.

Vampires aren't necessarily French, although Anne Rice's were. Vampires aren't any nationality. There are vampire legends in every culture that has ever been on this planet. The fear of an evil seductive beast goes back to the garden of Eden, but the fear of a parasitic beast that will drain the life force from us goes back even further, to the first written tales in Mesopotamia. This fear is primeval, inherent in us as a species. The most historically popular vampire, Dracula, was Romanian.
